1. Manchester United tried to buy Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan

According to the rumors, Red Devils have made several attempts to sign the Argentine winger during the last few transfer windows but the player has remained loyal to his club.

Al Ahli coach Cosmin Olaroiu coach said: “We made an offer of €35million, which Benfica accepted, since it was higher than the €30 million offered by Manchester United”. 

2. Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta could be signed by Inter

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the former coach of Manchester City, Roberto Mancini, who is in charge in Inter, will try to sign ManCity duo. Yaya Toure is set to quit Manchester City after Pep Guardiola was confirmed as their new boss, his agent Dimitry Seluk has revealed.

The Ivorian, 32, left Barcelona to join City in a £25million switch after Guardiola favoured Sergio Busquets over him and his agent has launched an attack on the Spaniard.

Seluk told SunSport: “I think Yaya will leave the club. But before leaving I hope he will win again the League and all the cups.

“It’s not a question of whether Pep likes him or not. It’s life, you know.

“Pep can call Yaya and speak to him to let him know ‘I’m with you’ or ‘I am not with you’.”

3. Pep Guardiola could sign Dimitri Payet, Busquets and Suarez

According to the rumours, Payet is one of Guardiola’s top transfer targets.  The Frenchman has been a sensation in the Premier League since joining West Ham from Marseille last summer.

However, it should be noted that Payet has also publicly insisted he is happy to remain at Upton Park long-term.

Barcelona player Sergio Busquets also hints that Pep Guardiola could sign him for Manchester City.

In his interview for ESPN  Busquets said: “I always said that there are only two people who can change my decision to play for Barcelona. One is my wife and the other is Guardiola. It’s clear that I have a big debt with him and it would be an honour to work with him again.But he knows that my club is Barcelona, I don’t think he’ll ask me to work for him.”

The 45-year-old will replace Manuel Pellegrini, who will leave on June 30.

Furthermore, Ahead of his move, Guardiola is already making plans to ‘steal’ Suarez from the Catalan giants as the Uruguayan hitman has formed a devastating relationship with Lionel Messi and Neymar Jnr which has seen them evolve into the world’s most potent attack force.
